A Lifetime of Service: Jubal Goodner’s Journey
The journey to founding HiFi OTC was driven by a deep commitment to giving back and “paying it forward.” Jubal Goodner, the company’s founder, has been dedicated to community service from a young age, starting with organizing food drives and participating in local clean-up initiatives.
This passion for making a difference led Goodner to enlist in the United States Marine Corps, where he embodied the values of honor, courage, and commitment. His time in the military tested his resilience and expanded his perspectives on life, further fueling his desire to create a positive impact.
After his service, Goodner was particularly inspired by the strength of fellow veterans, especially those facing mobility challenges.
This inspiration led him to launch ParaQuad Mobility, a company focused on providing high-quality mobility solutions to help individuals with disabilities live more independent lives.
Despite the success of ParaQuad, Goodner’s mission to help others continued to evolve. He founded HiFi OTC with the goal of offering affordable, high-quality over-the-counter hearing aids, making hearing solutions more accessible to those who need them most.
Across all of his ventures, Goodner has remained steadfast in his commitment to putting others first. His story serves as a powerful reminder of the impact that one person’s dedication to “paying it forward” can have on the lives of many.

“As a Marine Corps veteran who has walked the challenging path of service-connected hearing loss, I understand firsthand the frustrations and gaps in our current system.
HiFi OTC was born out of a simple belief: no one should have to struggle to hear, especially those who have served our country. Our mission is to ensure that quality hearing care is accessible to all, without the wait, without the red tape, and without breaking the bank.
